Granada Information
The province of Granada borders with the province Jaén in the north, in the northeast with Murcia, in the east with Almería, in the west with Málaga and Córdoba and in the south with the Mediterranean Sea. The locations with the mayor number of inhabitants are Granada City and the tropical coast with Motril and Almuñecar. The highest mountain of the Spanish peninsula, the Mulhacén with 3.482 meters, is situated in this province in the National Park Sierra Nevada that Granada shares with Almería.
The climate in Granada is continental and dry; in the in inland during winter the temperatures can drop below 0ºC (32ºF) and rise in summer above 40ºC (104ºF).
