Mazagon information
The town of Mazagon is situated in the municipalities of Moguer and Palos de la Frontera. The location has grown from a coastal resort into a major population centre. Here is situated one of the most pristine beaches on the Andalusian coast which occupies a large strip of nearly 13 km of golden sand stretching from the mouth of the Rio Tinto to Torre del Oro, which separates it from the crowded beach of Matalascañas.
The town centre is small and wide spread, without masses of buildings. It has a newly built marina which adds more interest to the local tourism offer.
